We have rules for all visitors -
1. All guests must schedule their visits in advance
2. Visits should be about fifteen to thirty minutes in length
3. Please check with the Sonshine staff before giving gifts or food items to the children
4. Ask permission before taking any photos
5. At no time should a guest be alone with a child - this is for your own protection as well as the child's
6. Guests are not permitted to be unaccompanied in any part of the facilities at any time
We have limited times and dates for events and longer visits. If you wish to have an event for the children -
please give Jack a call at 916-223-5225.

Donations - what can you bring us?
We are blessed by all your donations!
Please note that we cannot accept boxes of used clothing sent to our mailing or package addresses (237 Rockwood PO Box #77, or PO Box 9011 - PMB #41) at this time.
We pick up the packages in Calexico, and it is a challenge to bring used clothing across the border. There is a huge used clothing resale industry in Mexico and some people have used charitable organization's names to bring clothes across to resell. That makes it harder for us if we are bringing them legitimately! If you are coming down, you are welcome to bring used clothing within your own items. We definitely appreciate it! (Items on our wish list are good to send!) see our current needs page for details.
