You can support Sonshine Hacienda Students at Sonrise Christian Academy
At any given time, we have 30 to 35 students from Sonshine Hacienda attending Sonrise Christian Academy.
Costs per student have risen - mainly due to the falling value of the dollar vs the peso. A year ago, we were getting 20 pesos per dollar and currently it is about 15 pesos per dollar.
The cost of a sponsorship has not changed! You can sponsor a Sonshine student for $120.00 USD per month or $1,440.00 per year.
This includes a reduced amount for tuition, along with books and uniforms.
This is a Sponsorship fund rather than a scholarship for an individual child. This is for a couple of reasons. There are government regulations restricting us from revealing pictures and information about the children under our care. We also have a fluctuating population of children at Sonshine Hacienda. A student may only be a resident for a few weeks or months. And new children are being added to our Sonshine family frequently.
Currently we have 10 sponsors supporting our Sonshine students - we would like to increase that to 30 sponsors!
